Leeanne has a special interest in medical law and has extensive experience in the area of health and medical litigation services having acted for Queensland Health through a litigation services panel. For 17 years Leeanne was the legal member of the Cairns & Hinterland Health and Research Ethics Committee. She was also a regional member of the Mental Health Tribunal from 2002 to 2005. Leeanne was a Board Member of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital & Health Board from 2012 to 2016.
